Part-time bridal stylist (Saturday and Sunday availability required)

A part-time Bridal Stylist is a very important role in our store. Your primary duty is working with our brides to help them find their dream dress and bridal accessories. Someone who would make a great Bridal Stylist is a person who is confident, yet kind, has great leadership skills, and is a critical thinker and problem solver. A love for people and empowering women is a must! Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Greeting and consulting with brides to help them find their wedding dress & accessories

  • Retrieving gowns from the stock room and confidently presenting them to the bride. Must be able to lift 10-20lbs.

  • Assisting brides in the fitting room

  • Confidently and kindly helping brides work through their objections and concerns

  • Completing the transaction with the bride including going over paperwork and collecting payment

  • Measuring accurately and discussing sizing and alterations with the bride

  • Beginning of day and end of day tasks such as tidying up the store, keeping the gown racks organized, cleaning the store including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the bathroom, and taking out trash and boxes.

Pay:

Part-Time Bridal Stylists are paid a combination of hourly, commission, spiffs, bonuses and tips. On average, our Bridal Stylists make between $30-$50per hour, depending on their sales and tips, once training is completed and they are independently working with brides. This is a performance-based position!

Benefits:

All employees of Heart to Heart Bride who work on average 30 hours or more per week, are eligible for medical insurance 50% covered, and vision and dental on a voluntary basis. Full-Time Bridal Stylists receive paid time off, sick time, and some paid holidays. All of our employees can also contribute to a 401K plan.

Hours:

Our current need is a part-time Bridal Stylist who is available on Saturdays from 9:30am-5pm and Sundays from 9:45am-3pm. Monday and Wednesday evening availability from 5pm-8pm is also a plus but not required.
